Group Analysis – Therapy Tales #403

I’ve been reading a rather spectacular book about group psychotherapy and how it works (or not). One of the interesting things I’ve discovered is that the pioneers of group therapy were psychoanalysts and that the first group therapy sessions/techniques were basically the same as psychoanalysis, only with tons of analysands all doing their digging together. Can you imagine? What a mess!
