Lots of stuff about confidentiality cropping up recently – issues of trust, what measures therapists should be taking to ensure client confidentiality around notes and records.. but you know, accidents happen! At least computer files can be encrypted but paper.. yikes!
Unless, like so many therapists you use standard unencrypted hotmail/gmail to communicate with clients which is just stupid. Or those who use the same account to talk to clients as to their friends… or, as we discovered this week, people who don’t know what BCC is for…
