Nothing – Therapy Tales #293

Based on the approximately 1,342 conversations that I’ve had with people who think therapy is shit… and a few amusing comments on therapist blogs. Meh. Therapy isn’t for everyone, and a lot of potential clients fail to understand what a therapist/counsellor is for if not to give advice. Oh, I don’t know.. possibly some kind of attractive book-end?

I’m seriously contemplating putting a FAQ on my website, with the answer to each question being a link to one of your cartoons. ;D Some things just make more sense in pictures than words.

An excellent idea! :) yesterday someone was suggesting communicating with their therapist via cartoons.. so perhaps I can provide a service for all :)

Nice! :) (And I love it when you get ‘edgy’ on our collective asses ;))

I’ve always got a lot out of therapy and it’s probably a ‘you get out what you put in’ kind of thing. Depends on the case, circumstance and personalities involved, I suppose…

Alternate uses for a therapist: maybe a hat stand, or a pincushion, or as a test audience for your stand-up comedy routines.

      Ooo great ideas :)
Though I already use mine as an audience for comedy routines*… ;)

Am linking to this article here because it’s excellent and relevant to the topic of this cartoon.
