I managed to totally freak out one therapist by confessing to my blogging sin. Once was enough.
However I still think it was worth it to capture that very special facial expression… ;)
Now I blog under the radar. Could I be your client? mwah ha ha ha!!

Fucking hilarious!!
Yeah this is my total blog phobia. This is why I dont blog, or one of them or something. >>swims away.
Popular opinion if I recall correctly is that you get yer blog on – so do so immediately please. Thank you. ;)
Brilliant! If I wrote a blog I’d want to share everything and dont think I could EVER do that but I love what you are doing with this blog WG and this one made me LOL!
This could be called ‘On the absolute necessity for internet alter egos – or make your opinions public but keep your identity private (therefore safe…from your shrink, employer, parents, friends, etc)’
And the thought of having your therapist worry over which blogger you might be…priceless! Realistically speaking, your therapist is very probably an internet virgin who does not read blogs…but who cares about realism? Let’s not allow it to spoil our guilty pleasures ;-)
indeed – first amendment and all that..
My therapist didn’t even know what a blog was when I told him. He asked me if it was something sponsored by the government!
lmao!!
Hey, Dr. PA will take you on anytime! Just send her an email to book an appointment! *winks*
I’m not sure you could handle my crazy, but thanks for the offer!
…and be careful.. you may end up featuring here! :O
I wonder whether I should’ve adopted an alter ego. Anonymous bloggers are like Batman. ‘Public’ bloggers are more like, erm, Charlie Brown I guess…
Anyway, ace cartoon as ever that raises those unsettling moments where I think “crap. Do they know? Have they been reading my blog? Do they realise that the James Clayton who is so nice on the internet is the same James Clayton sat in front of them?”
The awkward moments when I have come into contact with someone who’s read my online ramble (so far few but I’ve got a sense that more will inevitably come) scare me. :s
Oh, I’ve told my therapist about your blog, he seems fine with it ;-)
LMAO!
Too funny… love it.
Oh pretty please can I use that in Web 2.0 presentations I give to therapists about client use of blogs?
Would be eternally grateful – full credit given!
Kate
Hi Kate,
Good to hear from you
Yes of course you can use it for your presentations- I would be honoured :)
(….yes with credit/attribution if you don’t mind)
Best
WG
ps- email me woundedgenius[at]gmail.com if you would like me to email you a higher res image as I use low res/web-ready for this site.
I’m passing this on to my psychologist sister!
Fabulous! I hope she likes it :)
She did!
